Alright I just pulled my S2000 into the garage from the dealership where I bought it used and I am a little confused about the headlights....They sound and look like HIDs but the dealer didn't say it had been converted and I was pretty sure the 2001 didn't come with HID...I have never seen what a conversion looks like under the hood, could someone tell me what to look for to see if the previous owner has put in HIDs...probably a NOOB question but I have only been an S2000 owner for about 3 hours...

 

All years have HIDs.

One of my friends that is "a car guy" said the same thing about my car. I told him no all S's came with HID's. He continued to dispute this.

He has no car credability with me anymore.

All S2000s have HIDs.

 

i dont know, mine have a nice hummm when i turn them on...like a cool warming up sound...

 

actuallyy if the car is off you can hear a small hum from the HID's..

 

I thought mine were upgraded when I got my car aswell.

 

since 1999 the s2k has had them.

thanx for getting with the picture BMW/porsche/corvette/etc, etc

 

all s2ks come with HIDs, maybe the guy thought the previous owner changed the HID bulbs.
