How cold were the tires? When it is raining or cool or when I first start a trip I ginger the S-02s. They do not like even midly (50 - 60) cold weather.

Best advice is to do a track school--you sound like you need to learn a little bit about the handling of your car and there's no better place than the sanctuary of a track. In addition to that, peruse--and I mean--PERUSE this board for technical information on your car. If you haven't been checking your tread depth, you probably haven't been checking your tire pressure, oil level, coolant level, etc. You may want to check for spring spacers while you're at it.....

a school is a good idea, just to 'learn' how your car handles etc....the more you know on the car, the better you'll handle it, and know how to respond to any problems that occur..

If there isn't a school, you can always try some BIG EMPTY parking lots, they can be alright for learning the extent of your cars handling, overall capabilities, and best options when you fish tail....parking lot idea is only recomended if theres no driving schools or tracks near by. Bewarned You can also get tickets for 'messing' around in parking lots.

Question

Same thing happened to me dude. Saw a hot girl in a civic while I was turning a corner to get on the highway so I put it in Second and gunned it at 40+ mph and next thing I knew I was facing oncoming traffic and kicking dirt on myself in the grass. Learned my lesson.

2 months ago, I did exactly what you wrote... and yes, i almost hit the on coming traffic, then after over correct, i almost hit the people by the bus stop.... so i havent' been doing stupid things like that anymore. i called up the dealer, of course, they want to keep the car for a whole day to figure things out
If you woulda hit someone, oversteer would be the last thing you would be worrying about

crawl under your car and look at the suspension. See if there are foam inserts between the springs. Many people have had them in for a couple thousand miles before discovering them. But there basically a shipping thing so the car doesnt bounce en route
