Default Fittipaldi Force

Hi everyone, will Fittipaldi Force rims fit on my '02 S2K? I wanted the 17x8's on all four corners.

Thanks

The car is not designed to have the same size rims on all four corners. Do that and you risk seriously compromising the handling (and possibly safety) of the car. There is "stagger" built in to the rim and tire sizes from the factory. You would be smart to at least maintain the same ratio when shopping for after market rims.

As for whether or not those particular rims would fit at all, you'd have to check the offsets to make sure they're right for the car.

lude, correct me if im wrong, jim from tirerack said it was allright to have the same size rim, as long and the tire stagger was correct.....as in my case, 17x8 all the way around 225/45/17 front, and 245/40/17 rear. THe only thing wrong, which is not hurting the car at all, is the offset of the rims are the same, and not correct, so my wheels stick out of the car by less than 1/4 of an inch, just looks more aggressive to me!!

Yes, as long as you have the stagger correct it should minimize the damage from having the same size rims. The problem is, you don't have the stagger correct unless you're running a stiffer front sway bar. The proper stagger for the stock bar would be 205 F/245 R (if you're running anything other than the OEM S-02 tires). With a 225 front, you've biased the car towards even more towards oversteer. Since a 205 section tire most likely won't fit on an 8 inch wide rim, you ended up with 225s and the incorrect stagger.
