Default Fixing bumper yourself?

I damaged lower section of front bumper.

Minor dent.

Since bumper is plastic, I figured probably I can push it and get away with it??

I can see creasings though.

I'll post pic as soon as I get home.

Can this be fixed DIY? I don't want to spend $$$ to body repair shop for a minor damage like this.

Cheers

Finally I got the pics up!!

If you can also see just right above it, the grill also a bit damaged but I figure I can use glue to fix that.

Any helps are great!

I don't think you'll be able to push that one out. It's creased.

I wouldn't pay a body shop to fix it either. I'd just get an OEM front spoiler to cover it up.

I think you're right. But another brand spoiler may do the trick.

Bumpers are made from thermoplastic with means they have memory to when they were first formed. With just some heat to the back side the dent should reset itself. Its worth a shot.... Just dont burn it and use a heat gun if possible (hair dryer will work but will take a little longer)... NO OPEN FLAMES!

So you heat the back side and sort of like 'mould' it back into place?

I'll give it a try. I don't have heat gun so have to use hair dryer.
