I've had my red s2000 for about a month and I just noticed red paint missing from the bottom metal bracket
under the door.It's the rough paint under the door that
one wouldn't notice unless you looked for it.I saw it picking up my key under the car.The paint is flaking and although I don't feel it will spread far enough to be noticed,it doesn't feel right.I'm going to my dealer
tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has seen this problem?

i have noticed that on my back bumper, where the bumper meets the back fender (on both sides) the paint is chipping. from what i can tell, its cause they over tightened the bumper.

can this be covered under warranty?

 

Talk about an old thread... anyways, since you have an 06 you should probably take it to the dealer. The paint should not be chipping/peeling on a brand new car
