I was searching in the marketplace and seen this add for a heavily modded S for sale, so I checked it out. This guy has an exhaust, a CAI, clutch, and Short throw shifter. and he believes, his car tops out at 185mph in 5th gear!!!!!!
I do not understand this high school mentality of flaming on people. Instead of creating a whole new thread about it why don't you politely inform him of his misinformation on his for sale thread?
Just a thought- Maybe he had his speedo set for KMPH and mistook it for MPH,I know it sounds retarded but who knows

Well, there's enough exxageration, and flaming to go around on this site if you look, so I'll be nice. I wanted to flame a guy once who claimed he gets 32mpg average using vtec 4-5 times a day, and driving 70-100 on highway, but I held back because it just causes problems.
Perhaps he had his odometer set on KM. I do that sometimes to make it look like I'm really going FAST,and people love to over exxagerate when selling a car.

I never encourage flaming....but I would flame this guy just for lying. And especially to do it on S2KI, where most people know pretty much every detail on the S. I wouldn't even call this stretching the truth a little. When you see so many wrong info on there, it makes you think what kind of person you are dealing with. He starts off with the mileage of the car in Km, and then talks about it in miles. I don't know. Too many wrong info on there to interest and enthusiast like ourselves IMHO. All I can say is......BEWARE OF SELLER!
