Default Flamers!!!!

i've been checking up on alot of honda related forums and s2ki seems to be the only forum where there are decent people trying to help each other out most of the time. I was just in honda tech and here is a sample of what i just read :

"Like it says I am looking for a NSX guage cluster. If you have one or know where I can get one. Please let me know."

another person replies:

"Acura dealer."

in responce :

"that was intelligent, thank you"

in reply to that response:

"well you know what they say, stupid question......"

i cannot express my gratitude to the members of this site not turning s2ki into a forum like this.

Haha. Yea the guys at Honda-Tech don't bring up much useful information to talk about, especially in the S2000/NSX section. They're a lot better in the Integra Type R section. I have to agree, this site is far superior to any other car forum I've been on - the S2Ki community is comprised of knowledgeable enthusiasts that contribute to informative topics.

Well, where else would you get an NSX gauge cluster other than a Acura Dealership? Unless people are selling them privately.

lol, i thought it was a pretty good answer to a pretty stupid question. I dont think anyone would remove their gauge cluster to sell it. I know what you mean though, s2ki kicks a$$

Some times people buy spare parts off of wrecked cars and don't really need or use the parts so decide to sell them. That is not a stupid question at all.

Ya...Honda-Tech is mainly for Type R Owners, the forms on ITR's are great.

dctrpark,

I agree that this has been the most helpful forum I have seen so far for our cars. This is why I was willing to become a member. Information gleaned from this site has saved me serious heartache and expense. Example - Information originally posted by Greg Stevens on the loose spark plug problem. But when you ask questions, answers for which are readily available in the manual or by performing a simple key word search on this site, you are pushing your luck. Sometime try asking how to turn off the Maintenance Required indicator light, which appears at the 7000 mile point.

I this site. I have enjoyed it immensely and have even come to rely on it. The search feature is excellent often times it answers most my questions. This is why I was willing to become a Gold Member. Great Site.
