Well looking at the mistakes he made at translating it was done with babelfish or something like that. Siegen is a town, to translate it to Victory is a bit humorous. But one lucky guy to be alive I'd say.

What a terrible guard rail system they have. Is it only to stop trucks, but decapitate car drivers? They need to be replaced, or at least lower them. Hope they are not all designed that way in Germany.

That guy is just lucky. He must've put his head down by the passenger seat when he went under that guard rail.

I'd certainly agree he was lucky, but looking closely at the photo the guardrail may not have intruded as far as it first seems. It looks like the rail itself ended up directly above the dash, maybe going as far as the steering wheel. Assuming the airbag deployed, it would likely do so just fast enough to squeeze between him and the intruding guardrail/windshield at the critical instant of impact, and since the front end wasn't crushed his legs would be fine and he could just walk away!

Still, I wouldn't wanna try it.

Maybe he had just dropped his cell phone and was reaching into the passenger foot-well when he heard this horrific "crash"?
