I like how OPAK has them installed on their TSX. THey've got the lights cut into the front Bumper cover and it's recessed enough so when they put a clear cover over it it's still flush.

I saw a Chrysler Concord (the real big one that looks like a watermellon) the other day. The back up light assembly just might fit into the phony front bumper vents on the AP2 when turned 90 degrees...... anyone live near a junk yard of have one of these to look at it closer?

Ha! That's my S.

First of all, 95% of ppl here are satisfied with stock lowbeam and highbeam. I am among the 5% who drives at night with lots of elevation changes. If you notice, when your car is going downhill and up, basically anywhere above the cut off line from projectors becomes pitch dark. I can't see the corner ahead and that make it rather dangerous.

These are Raybrig dual beam driving lights btw, IMO, they're brighter than the H.I.D. They are adjusted to cover the area above the projectors' cutoff line. I only use them when necessary, and turn them off when there's traffic in front or coming from the opposite.

Yes, I don't like the look either, but they're functional. So function over form.

Call me rice and we shall meet at the race track.

Well, damn.

I've had (and used) fogs on every (other) car I've owned for the past 20 years, and I like 'em for the reasons noted here as well as off-axis visibility.

And this &^$%# thread has got me thinking about them for my AP2. There are little round fog lamps out there that would, I think, fit into a nice round hole in those fake inlet covers. That means taking the ^$%& bumper off. Aaargh!

Maybe if I ignore it, the feeling will go away. HPH

I personally like the log of fog lights... I used to own a IS300 and the blue and the yellow contrast was quite good... I was thinking of maybe getting some hid fog lights probaly for no other reason then for looks.

Haven't seen any posts to the fog light querry for the AP2 lately..... but I've been looking at the 01-03 Toyota RAV4 and I think their fog light would fit into the bumper's fake vent similar to what S2KSPAYELLOW did with his AP1........ I've got a couple of emails out to a few distributers that sell Toyota OEM like lights. However, in the interium anyone have access to the RAV4 to do a little measuring before I buy and try if they are available?

Is this the RAV4 you mean? The openings are about the right shape, but look a lot larger than the AP2.
