These are just great. Reading these make you feel so glad you bought your s2000. It doesn't get any better than this.

Wouldn't Biege disapprove of your interior mods and painting the rear valence panel?

I enjoyed some of his stuff but I think he also went too far with many of his posts...

 

lig, I think the term to use is passion.
I may disagree with some of what he says but I admire his knowledge, experience and passion.
And I think when it comes to mods the term 'going too far' rings much louder on the other side of the argument.
That is just what I think. I may be wrong.

Even though I didn't always agree with Biege - I do have respect for *some* of what he wrote...

 

Biege was terrific. Too bad he was met with such hostility here. At least we still have xviper and dlq04 to enjoy.

 

'Fanatical' might be another word.

Beig had an amazing way of putting words together. It's just a shame he used his powers for evil rather than good.

 

I just checked out "An S2000 Perspective (or Two)" and learned that I'm about to be moved from the Sports Car Crowd to the Drag Racing Crowd when I get my supercharger. I don't even like drag racing...I just want to shoot out of the apex that much quicker!

 

I'm afraid I was the "straw" that broke Bieg's back. That last comfrontation was with me and he left right after that. It's too bad because I was just about to let it go and just ignore him until he got his lawyer friend to post on those threads and "come for me". That was something I could not tolerate and when I'm REALLY PISSED, I aim both barrels. Apparently, he now has something like "Bieg's Corner" in S2KCA, an alternate site by Greg Stevens, who parted from this site on a sour note. It is also very interesting that Greg offered Bieg this "opening" since the two of them used to be "combatants" with each other. Oh well, I guess if you hate something bad enough and find someone else who hates the same thing, you can become friends.
Bieg did come up with some pretty good and passionate stuff but too often would he go nuts and start to "preach" against modding. He drew the displeasure and sometimes disgust from many, many forum users here.

 

It's the old mantra that fits here.
