Found the rev limiter
I found the rev limiter last night... It's right up there past 9K rpms; right where its supposed to be. This car is going to take a little getting used to! I was going to practice a launch at the end of the cloverleaf on-ramp of the Interstate. Started in first gear - was keeping an eye on traffic ahead, rear view mirror, and tach. I guess I took my eyes off the tach a little too long because all of a sudden, the acceleration just stoped and I thought I was going to go through the windshield. Looked down at the instrument cluster and the tach was well into the red and flashing.
First gear runs out awful damn quick when the VTEC kicks in. Guess I'll have to be more careful next time. Still...it was pretty awesome and lots of fun. Made me do this
, then this
, then this
, but ended up like this...

Once, while looking at the road instead of the tach, I found the rev limiter, made sure it was there three more times, and then finally used my ham fist to shift to 4th.
Basically... I understand.

Just make sure you don't find it while "down shifting" into second when you meant to "up shift" into 4th while going 95mph down the front straight of a road course...not that I would know anything about that myself.
