Default Found something new in our S2K!!!!

Just when you thought that you knew everything about your S....
Poking around in the trunk tonight, looking for pockets and crannys, I came across the inside trunck latch. That was actually new to me, but the neat thing about it was....it's a GLOW-IN-THE-DARK latch! You shine a light to it and it glows!
I guess it's for those kids who get stuck in there!
Well, if you knew that already, sorry for the redundancy.
I just got excited finding something new in the S!

Not to steal your thunder, but Matt (F20C) found this same glow in the dark latch about 2-3 weeks ago.

Nice find, I didn't know that when you turn on your headlights and hold down the "+" button on the display for a few seconds, it would restore the original brightness until a few weeks ago
I don't RTFM

That's a MY2001 difference. MY2000 owners can stop looking now.

And to any MY2000 owners who inadvertantly locked themselves in the trunk in a vain effort to find, knock three times loudly.

What are you talking about?? I just thought that the latch makes it easier for people to get in and out of the backseat!!!

This is federally mandated on all MY 2001 autos sold in the US. For more info, go to:

Are you locking unsuspecting men in your trunk so you can cart them off to some secluded location then have your way with them again Scot??? You little randy boy!!

Mark

P.S. - Still haven't received the videos of you and the "bear" yet...

HELP!!!! I've locked myself in and can't get out.

At least the MY2000 don't have the extra weight of that trunk latch and clock to worry about
