How fast are you going at 5900 rpms? I just bought a 08 and have not had over 4000 rpms yet,only 300 miles on it so far.

Mine is at 5200 RPM at 80MPH. I'm geared though with 4.77's.

Must get pretty noisy in there

My STi with a full TBE spins about 2750 @ 70mph and it's pretty loud. But w/e, a good sound setup should make things right.

I actually find the engine quieter in the 4-5k range than the 3-4k range, something with the harmonics...

I Like it in the 5 to 6 Thousand Range, the Car is very Responsive and you Make Pretty Good Time, I'm so busy Watching Everything I don't even Notice the Noises.

This Little Car will Run Tank after Tank after Tank at 6 to 9 Grand and not miss a Beat.
