We are going to draft a letter to Herb himself, the service manager, and Honda. Issues:
-after 5000 miles they realized they did not remove the suspension spacers upon delivery
-the accounting guy was a total jackass about the title search for the car that was traded in on the S2
-and the latest, the paint peeling on the bumper was to be done yesterday, called the body shop to find out when to pick it up and they said they would need another day, but come to find out the car was never even picked up to begin the work!
Where is the correct place to mail a copy of the letter to Honda ?
Thanks!

Hi Bernie,
Sorry about your dealings with High price Herb.
Which body shop are they using?
My preference is to drop the car off to the place the work is being done so I can deal directly with the folks if any questions/issues arise.
If you chose to bail out on Herb, Village Collision in Brookline does good work.
I have not had my bumper painted yet because I am holding off in the hope factory painted bumpers will be sent (I know I am dreaming). Also, some folks had the thing just start peeling again after the repair.
Regarding the spacers, what fix is appropriate at this point?

I'm a BIG fan of Hanson and Tilton Auto Body in Arlington. They did what I would consider a perfect job of matching the silver on my baby when some old fart let her Park Avenue doggy-style my Michelle. To top it off, they not only did it for a great price, he charged me less than the estimate! I think I paid $150 for him to remove some gouges, repaint the bumper, and straighten out some metal pieces that hold the bumper in shape. Nice guy, too!

It's the shop behind the Kels on Harvard Ave in Brighton. I think that's what to do. It's not the shop, it's the clowns at HC.
The spacers were to be removed at time of delivery, and were not. Not really any fix, just stupidity.

Well, Finally had the work done yesterday. Just the rear bumper redone, new clear coat. Looks great. They guys at that shop are very nice. They returned the car clean as a whistle and even dressed the tires! We dropped the car off instead of letting those jackasses at Herb Chambers get involved at all. Just let them fill out the warranty paperwork.
