Default Which front bumper?

As the front bumper on my '01 Silverstone is now cracked, scratched and dented after tracking the car last weekend at Sears Point and hitting a cone at 85 MPH, I'm trying to decide whether to replace it with a stock bumper or change to something after market. I like the Top Secret and Mugen SS, but not sure if this would make the car look better or worse. Anyone have opinions on which front bumper would be best to give my S a little more "uniqueness" without making it, for lack of a better term, too "ricey".

Thanks for any input people have on this, even if the flamethrowers descend upon me for inquiring on this admittedly trivial and subjective topic

I've got the J's racing front and love it. Gives the front a more aggressive look. This is not a complete bumper replacement though. It goes right over the stock bumper, but you could have a body shop mold it to the front. I don't know what kind of damage you have to your car, and whether it would cause any fitment problems.

My opinion is to price the cost of replacement for the original vs whatever bumper you choose. Aftermarket bumpers all need to be prepped, painted and installed. I would reccomend a body shop unless you've got some skill.

Will insurance pick up part of the tab? How much of a deductible?

Good Luck!

I absolutely LOVE the TOP SECRET one. I will probably end-up getting that one. As long as it doesn't bothe ryou that someone else out there has it ( well heck, there's already probably 40+ that have it ) but the good news is that it is hard to get ahold of so that cuts dowm on the # of people that will apply it to there car . . . YEAH !
