You'll have holes left in the bumper. Unless you want to have them filled and your bumper painted, I would just leave them there.

I'm in the process of swapping my front bumper for a JDM one which has no washer jets (or plateholder )

They are currently disabled by fuse reomoval any way

well, as you posted this Q i am assuming you are form Europe - as we do not have headlight washers over here.

IIRC European law is that you need to have headlamp washers (and self levellers for that matter) on all cars running HID lights.

When I lived in the UK, I never actually had a car older than 3 years old so i wouldnt know - but my Q is would you pass the MOT test (or TUV in Germany) if you removed them?

Yes - they are never tested by the MOT station.

Not sure they are ever tested on individual cars, they are not on the PDI.

But you are right - it is EU legislation that means we get the warts

BTW how's living in the US compare to the UK?

its not hard to get rid of - just unbolt them from the bumper.

youll also want to disconnect the tubing for the jets from the washer lines - or direct it towards curbside and hit unsuspectiing pedestrians

I removed mine a long time ago.

I removed the pump and sealed the hole on the washer tank
