Thumbs up Which front grille?

Hi there,

I used to have Dennis' Smokin grille back in the day on my original S2000 and I really want to buy a lightweight easy to install and good looking (i.e. invisible) stone guard in front of the stock grille on my current MY03...

What are the options (and opinions) these days?

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

I couldn't find very many and went with Grillcraft. Seems like they're only for AP2's though.

Got mine over this summer from Grillcraft.

Not the best picture, but it looks great!

I have a black one that fits AP1s. Looks great. I used black zip ties and you never knew it was there. I'll sell it to you if you want it.

Thanks for the advice.

Is Dennis/Smokin still doing these?

Alternatively, how much do the coastal metal / Grillcraft guards weigh???

Siepel...

I have the grillcraft on my AP2. I installed it with zip-ties and they are basically invisible and it comes off in about 1 minute.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your post! Looks great!!

Do you have the "diamond" cut? Is it a lightweight piece?

I found a site that sells the grillcraft center guard for less than 50 bucks with free shipping. Sounds like a pretty good deal?!

It beats losing a condenser ($800+) to a rock kicked up by a truck on the highway (in the city).
