Default front lic. plate holes- do we all have them?

I swear there was no plate on the car when I test drove it. When it was picked up however, I noticed 3 things after taking the front plate off. It looked like it was drilled at the dealer, the bumper was removed, the screw hookups were installed, and then it was all put back together.
ANyway:
1)one of the pins that holds the lower, black slats in place was broken off, and that area of the plastic was hanging down.
2)one of the pins that holds the plate screw mounts (behind the bumper) was broken, and it was stuck on by 3 layers of double sided tape. Unbefrickinlievable. That simply will not do. I'm sure that's a dealer screw up, yes?
3)scratches on the headlight lens. I'm just assuming they're from the r&r of the bumper cover when they f'd up the plate install. The car is going back to the dealer tomorrow before work to get this straightened out. This is ridiculous.

So my question is, is it possible to get a new bumper that han't been drilled??? I'd prefer it that way. And, I *AM* getting a new bumper, I refuse to keep one with mutiple pins broken and paint all f'd up from the drilling process.

Sooo, anyone have a non-drilled front bumper cover???

The screw holes are on ALL S2000s. The car comes with "bumper plugs" over these holes. Your dealer probably took off the plugs and installed the plate holder. Go give 'em shit and ask for those color keyed plugs back.

will do, thanks for the info.

I'm demanding a new bumper since two of the various attachment pins are snapped off. They freakin used double sided tape to secure it. That's hella lame if you ask me.

Looks better shaved off. Only a couple of bucks at the body shop.

Please equate your "couple of bucks" into "real money".

Not 100% sure. I had it done when I had my hood painted and blended. As well as have a couple of minor scratches (one on the fendor/front bumper) fixed. So I really don't know how much THAT particular bit of labor cost me.
