Thumbs up Front License Plate

Just traded my 01 Silver S2000 for an 05 Yellow one. I have only been pulled over once (warning) for failure to display a front license plate (In Ohio). The yellow is much more of an attention getter for the police and am finally contemplating installing the front plate. Question: Rather than use the stock brackets is there anyway or kit to instal the front plate within the grill area? It would look much better and would probably save me from a ticket. OR would that reduct too much air flow to the engine?

Thanks for any ideas from you guys living is those states that unfortunately require two license plates.

Go with the Rick's lisence plate holder. You'll like it, it angles the plate downwards.

i have seen pics of plates in the grill, but dont know how they mounted them...
i dont have one on my car- if i get stopped i intend to put it in the grill with temp wires (so i can take it off after its signed off)- just what i did with my 911.

I used that way for when I lived in NY.. Looks better there than the bumper.
I used the stock bracket and used ties on all 4 holes and put them around the grill. It was pretty secure. Never moved at all

I remember reading a few threads over the years about those who attached their front plate to the grill and experienced no over heating problems. They claimed they never went above 3 bars. I don't blame you for not wanting to run a front plate. They look like shit on an S2000's nose. I'm fortunate to have an old single green tag in Massachusetts. For the past 15 years they've required you to run 2 unless you're still clinging to the old one.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will probably use the exisiting holder and use ties into the grill. That appears to be the most attractive way.

As for the bracket at Ricks. It would be far superor to the OEM bracket, but I think it would still be unattractive to the front of the car. Could someone that owns one of these brackets post a picture of their car with the plate holder? (attach as an e-mail if preferred as well)

Thanks again.
