Default Front License Plate, And Front Grill?

For those of you who have a front license plate on your S2000, and a Front Grill. How did you install the license plate after installing the front grill? I have seen a few pics but have been asked this question by a few people.

Regards,
David McCune Jr.

Thanks for any help with this question.

I use the MGRacing BackYardSpecial front license plate mounting bracket. It simply attaches to the front bumper with 2 screws and works great with your Front Grill.

Their site is currently down, but I'll post a picture when they're back up.

I use nylon cable ties.

Also, I had an industrial metal crafting company chop down my plate.

Any More Ideas?

Barry, do you attach the plate directly to the grill

David,
I do attach the license plate directly to the front grill. I am still using Dennis Cunningham's grill, not the one I bought from you. I bought yours because of its superior quality but haven't gotten around to changing to it.
The vertical distance in Dennis Cunningham's grill is 5 1/4 inches. Back in January when I first did this, I had the plate chopped to 5 1/4 inches high. Later, after I got more worried about the obstruction to cool air flow, I had the license plate further chopped.
I also had new holes drilled in the plate to use to thread the cable ties.
You can see various pictures of this process here:

Thanks for your excellent attention to detail in your finding out about the effects of the front grill.
