In a recent get together here, we had some 11 cars, all but one was without front plates. We quickly shamed him into taking his off.

btw, of the 11 cars, 1 red (me), 1 yellow, 2 blacks and 7 silvers.

i just got my car yesterday.. got flagged down by a cop while crusing a strip.. for not having my front plates on.. then he realized is still had the dealer tags on the back and the car was new.. he let me go.

i'm leaving my car w/ out the front license plate until i get busted for it.. it just looks fugly w/ the plate on there.. kinda like the car has this big white and black thing stuck in its teeth.

i don't think cops are gonna pull you over just for that unless there just looking for a reason to mess w/ you. in my case it was to discourage crusing and the fact i'm a young kid in a nice car.

It's only a $10 fix ticket in CA if you get pull over with no front license plate. It looks much better w/o it.

I leave the plate off of mine too, even though it's required. I figure that if I get pulled over, I'll just say that I'm waiting for the mounting bracket to come in from the dealership.

Left mine off...got about 4 tickets for it...long story - won't bore everyone - lets just say Chicago cops have nothing better to do

I finally put the fronts on - hate the look - if you can get away with it - leave'em off.

I'm leaving my front plate on!! I've gone through the aggrevation before of getting stopped. To quote a past president, "Not Gonna Do It." Good Luck to everyone who wants to take the front plate off!!
