Default Front lip install question

Just bought a front lip for MY01.
The instructions seem pretty easy.
1 question- Do you have to jack the car & take off the front tires for this install?
Instructions don't mention this but I thought I read somewhere that it was necessary.

Sorry If this is a dumb question!

thanks....

i don't beleive you will need to jack the car up or take off the front tires.. wouldn't it be easier to just take off the front bumper, install the lip, and then put everything back together?

Removing the front bumper sounds like a lot of extra work!

Can't I just lay on the ground & screw/bolt it on??

You can do that, but it's like comparing an exhaust install with a lift to an exhaust install with jacks. Different concept, but about the same room. It's much easier to take the bumper off and do it right.

If it's OEM and simular to an AP2, just raise the front end a little.
there are only 5-7 bolts and four tiny screws for the wheel wells.
The whole install will take less than an hour.

jack or ramps make access to under front a little easier ...absolutely no need to remove the bumper...we're talking about like 7 bolts & 4 screws on the AP2 OEM lip...plus some two sided tape set up properly and your done in 30 minutes...

No need to remove anything.
