I have the bumper protector black on a silver car. It looks pretty decent not too noticeable. it does give a bit more peace of mind when approaching curbs and parking limiters from the front. If you want a more aero racecar look get the splitter. The protector went on very easily.

I just received and installed the front bumper protector today. It sticks out about a half inch, just about perfect in my opinion. Really adds to the menacing appearance of the front end without standing out. I'd really hate to scrape it! But if I do, at least I'm replacing something that's "only" about a hundred bucks to replace.

I use Eagle 1, A to Z wheel cleaner. It is the only "scrub free" thing that acually works. Get it from Wal-Mart. For the rest it is all Zaino.
