Front Nose Mask aka Bra
I realize we have a lot of creative people here like Mingster and Muz. So given that can anyone design a half nose mask for the S with a red S2000 logo? I want to keep the chips on the hood down and besides it will look good in my opinion.
I do not know how many people would be interested or what the scope of the project would be.
I know I am interested for sure!

I've been using the new version of the Colgan Bra and have been satisfied with its performance. The attachment to the fenders has been slightly redesigned, and the fit is now tighter across the top of the lights. It is very important to get this fit tight to minimize balooning. The bra has been on the car for several highway trips at constant speeds of around 70-80 mph.
I strongly recommend our sponsor, Top Notch Auto Accessories. Rob has given me excellent customer service and is now sponsoring a group buy on the bra and mirror covers for an excellent price. http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=4413
I have no affiliation with the vender except as a totally satisfied customer.

I have the "new" design. I am about 6' tall and when I sit up straight on the hwy, I can see the drivers side lifting (hard to tell how much, but do notice it). I have put the mask on all different ways (loose and tight).
Same end result. I have also tried putting the fender tabs between the liner and fender (as per instructions and over the liner) still same result. I now put it over the liner beacause it is actually tighter and does not create the bump in the liner when it is inserted.
I don't have a problem with Top Notch (who I purchased it from, Rob was good to work with) after all they don't make the mask. And as a reseller have probably done all they can do.
But, if another mfg. came out with a mask that didn't lift, I would replace it in a minute. I am afraid that when lifted, junk is being trapped underneath and then rubbing the paint (sort of defeats the purpose of putting the thing on).
Just my opinion. I know others have had similar problems and others have not.

I had the original Colgan bra that lifted at speed so I contacted Rob at Top Notch and got a replacement sent. I too have nothing but good to say about Rob and his crew, they are extremely helpful, but I do still have ballooning above both headlights with the new design. (Yes, it is correctly installed.) At one point I offered to outline where I would cut the bra so that it didn't go above the headlights, but terminated just below, but nobody ever responded to that offer from Colgan.
I wish that I could tell you that the new version is not going to puff up, but my experience is the opposite.
I do, however, still use it, since it is far better than no covering up front. Also I am loathe to spend the money necessary to get a stick on treatment, as well as being worried about the long term effects of stick on applications on the paint.
