Default Front speaker size?

I got a blown front passenger side speaker, so can anyone tell me what size our speakers are?

The reason why it's blown is because whoever owned the car before me, had the front speakers bridged, and the rears are just connected to the head unit.

retards...

thank you

Bridging speakers alone doesn't cause blown speakers FYI.

Well it wasn't set up right at all when I first got it and I would have it loud almost everyday, but still it's a 4 channel amp, why would anyone in their right mind bridge the speakers.

If it came with the stock system I would leave it, but since it already came with some nice stuff I want to get it perfect.

I have mine bridged, a JL audio 300/4 bridged = 150 watts x 2 (damn that's loud). Bridging an amp that has the capability is a very commonly practiced activity to informed install techs.

Blown speakers happen usually because they are played at a volume causing too much distortion (have too much bass in your EQ setup???), or possibly one of the speaker leads has been shorted (screw through the speaker wire... seen it a million times). Also, what kind of speakers are they (what are they rated at)? If they are rated for 75 watts and you're pushing them with 150, they will pop. Also, it can be hard to hear distortion over road noise in these cars.

One other thing, the stock stereo setup is absolutely sh!t, the only thing Honda skimped out on with these cars.

One other thing, the stock door speakers are 5 1/4, NOT 6 1/5 as 9k guey stated above, but you can buy adapters that will allow some 6 1/2 speakers to fit.

i swore that ive read multiple times that some 6.5s would fit without adapters ( which lead me to belive this was a stock size but i stand corrected)

My Polk 6.5" fit plug and play with ZERO modification. The magnet even cleared the stock basket like some have had problems with.
