Default Front Suspension Squeaks

Does anyone have any problems with squeaks coming from the front suspension area on semi-rough roads? I have a 2000 model S2k with only 11k miles on it.

Have you checked to make sure the dealer removed the spring spacers during PDI?

I bought the car used about 2 months ago so I really haven't checked that. Sorry for my ignorance but I didn't even know that those spacers existed. Is that commonly missed?

I also have a 2000 with that problem. I don't know if I would say squeek though. My brother wrecked it. When I got it back it started making that noise.

Only sometimes
mostly at night
After I've been driving for a bit.
Still haven't gotten it looked at.

Incubus, it's quite interesting that you experience this mostly at nights because it's the same way as mine. I don't hear the squeaks in the morning when I leave for work, only when I'm coming home from work.

I've got it, funny how I also notice it mostly at night (cool temps?) I'm beginning to accept that this is a fantastic sports car, but it has it's quirks, and I'm gonna live with them and keep on smiling. Imagine if there were internet boards like this in the old british sports car days..........

Cool temp is a good observation.

At first I was thinking it was linked to the lights, but you say suspension and that was my original assumption.
If you figure anything out please PM me (Kyleemn). And I will help you if I can.

My front suspension squeaks but it started it at about 25 000km. I took it to Honda they said nothing was wrong - typical - but it still squeaks not matter what the temp.

I've got squeaks, but I mostly hear when when coming off-track. Lots of heat buildup, roof up, no radio, slow speeds, rough paddock. I don't hear anything on the street. Never bothered to check anything.

I have it and I hate it. Started after Weseloh did my clutch, transmission and seat belt TSBs. Mine doesn't start until I've drien at least 15-30 minutes. Noticeable at low speeds, over uneven surfaces. Speed bumps do not seem to provoke the squeaking.

Had the clutch TSB redone, everything torqued to specs. The tech did not remove the power steering or alternator leaving those parts as suspect because they probably were removed the first time around.

Next week HondaWorld is hooking up some 8 channel microphone system to try and find the squeaking. I love my car, but if I can't find the source of this annoyance, I'll sell it.
