fast dropping at the last 3rd is an understatement, it just goes away to no bars.

it's like almost every other honda. i would drive for a good 50 miles and not lose one bar... 250 miles and it will only be a bar less than half.... but like everyone said.. the lower half will drop like a rock in about 50-100 miles... i think our tank is made like a funnel...
that wouldnt suprise me

I have no faith in the gauge. EXPECIALLY on track days. I've run out of gas @ watkins glen when I had 1/2 tank showing but decided that I should fill anyway during lunch. I drove down the hill and when I got to the bottom (leveled off) my car ran out of gas 100ft from the station. It was rather funny, but the gauge still had a couple bars left. I know the car was empty because I put 12gal in!

Anyway, I'm mostly using the car for my drive to work and I found w/ my driving habits I get about 260 miles to the tank (with top down) so I fill up when I hit ~230.

Best to trust your odo over that gauge. Love the car, hate the gauge.

Rate of drop increases exponentially lol.

First bar does take a while to drop but 60 miles is a lot to me... definitely won't happen in city driving with traffic jam. Strangely I lose my first half fast... I see 1 or 2 bar dropping and it stay like that for a while, then all of a sudden I see 5~6 bars missing.

I've never gotten over 248 miles before the gas lamp comes on.

I never get more than 250miles per full tank even when I shift around 3k-4krpm. Is that highway or city mileage you are talking about?

Ever wonder why everyone was passing you even though you were doing 100? Switch it off metric and then see what it reads.

I highly doubt you're getting 300, even when I was brand new, baby driving, I never saw over 260 on a cross state interstate only drive.
