I have installed the adjustable fuel Pressure regulator and find that I have excellent throttle response using a setting of about 44 psi with the vacuum connected.

Noticed a wide swing with or without the vacuum on the regulator, and if I am in the low range of the spec without vacuum, I am higher than the low range with vacuum.

I did not plan any dyno time just to fool with this, so my real question is what setting are you guys using, and are you quoting a pressure with or without vacuum to the gauge?

All settings should be done with the vaccum hose off to simulate WOT.

At close or partial throttle the ECU can take reading from the O2 sensors and adjust. So any discrepancies will be corrected by the ECU. On WOT the O2 can't read fast enough so the ECU use pre-asigned values. Here is were you can do the adjustments to A/F ratios.

I have mine at 43 PSI right now but 44 will also work fine.

Thank you. I've got it now and will test it out as soon as I get a chance.

I try to follow also with vacuume hose off and set close to low tolerance level but I found with range of 44-47, car felt sluggish.
With the vacuum hose off, I set at around 50.
But I am still tinkering with it to set at optimal setting and hasn't come to finalized setting yet.
So I am still messing with it but with cold temperature outside I am wondering what gauge reading is true reading.
I may try to increase the pressure just tad more to see but once I had it up to over 50 with vacuume hose on at the drag strip.
It didn't cause the check engine light to come on because I was still with Mugen ECU back then. But gosh my car was running quite good with even more pronounced vtec transition in 2nd gear.
I think with running too rich or too lean will trigger the trouble code.

I guess this is a compromise that will depend upon atmospheric conditions. Pepe does not have quite the variance in ambient temperature that we have so maybe he can stay at the low end more effectively. I face a normal range of about 20F to 110F, but probably can use a low setting in the range most of the time (75% of the year here is 75

Does the WOT circuit have some sort of feedback for atmospheric pressure (elevation change) or does the MAP sensor take care of this whole issue?

Does MAP sensor feedback to ECU in gage or absolute?

Mine is somewhere between 40 and 42, noticed what sounded like pinging, raised octain to about 97 or so, its pretty quick now. With the other mods to, of course.

I am very happy to see that you guys like the regulator!

Could you guys post pictures of the mounting positions you have used? Just for the benefit of those that are getting the regulator but don't know where to put it. Thanks
