Default A funny thing happened...

Drove up to the local filling station in my '05 Pilot on Sunday.

At one of the pumps was a black '05 with a wonderfully developed "sweet young thang" in a very low cut top in the driver's seat and an large older man outside of the vehicle. The hood, trunk, both doors, "secret compartment" (YES, they found that!), are all wide open.

The heavyset fellow is a used car salesman. I had seen the '05 sitting on the front row at the local Ford dealership and this lovely girl was out for a test spin. The salesman tells me that 2 girls took the car out the previous day for a 3-hour "test drive" and brought the car back on Empty. Now he can't find out where the switch is to open the fuel filler door.

I was more than happy to oblige....

That's funny. I can't believe they allowed those girls to take the car for 3 hours.

Something tells me that you can tell them where the passenger window lock switch is too.

Not yet, but my wife can...duh!?!!?

Feeling a bit the fool......all of my other cars disarm the passenger windows at all points OTHER than the driver position...I must have missed this nuance when going through the owner's manual (yes, I did read it!).

Thanks again for the help...I really was not relishing the thought of dropping the car at the dealership for them to tear into the door.

It's all good. Lots of people fall for that switch issue.

Before my car arrived, I went to the dealership and quizzed a saleman where the release was and he couldn't find it.
