Default FYI on Buying an S2000

So I have been in the market for a 2007 S2000
And I have been browsing around my local Honda dealer's websites.
It turns out shopping for Cars online is ALOT!!! CHEAPER!!!!

I live in Troy, Michigan, and got a quote from 3 different dealerships.

this is what they quoted me. This is for a lease by the way.
36 months = 480/months tax included
48 months = 435/months tax included

These are boths with no down but $650 for document fee.

I asked the dealerhips what was the price of the car they were quoting me on, and they said
$30,500 + tax!!!! for a brand new 2007 S2000.

So I asked them why the price was on the low side, and they said, when someone shops for a car online, they try to give the best deal possible becuase they have been looking around online!

But they did say $30,500 was not negotiable, they just throw out the lowest price they sell it for, when you are shopping online.

Of course you and come to the dealership before you buy the car! and even test drive it if you want.

But I just thought it was really neat how shopping for cars online is so much cheaper than actually going to the dealership and trying to negotiate!

I thought this was neat and thought i'd share with you guys.

07 with 17 miles for $28.6k in Northern California. Less than 30 minutes of haggling...S2000s are not selling very well - now is the time to buy!
