OT: how much clearance is required for a 2-post lift like yours? I have 12' finished ceilings and wonder if that'll be OK for my S in my garage...

12' is perfect and what mine is.
The lift is a 2post asymetrical 9000lb'er that I bought from Rotary through Northern tool.
It gets used a lot and cost about the same as a nice set of wheels and tires.
I think I paid about 2800 delivered about 2 years ago before steel and fuel started getting expensive.

Biggest mistake I made when building my new garage was not going 12' with the walls. I'm at 10' and I can get a lift in but it would be tight. I've priced out both 2 post and 4 post, not much difference in price. Great item if you can afford it. All that's missing is a nice epoxy on the floor.

Hmmmmmmmmm.... that really makes me think... 240VAC required? Someone to install it? Any requirements on the concrete slab? Only problem is that my garage is only 20x24... hmmm... in any case, it looks fantastic!
