If you are not turboed running high boost there isn't a need for 100+ octane gas. Most of the race gas are leaded and that will foul your O2 sensors quick.

does anyone use octane 87 or 89, not mistakenly, but on a regular basis. just curious.

I think the general consensus is that octane booster additives don't work and are just a waste of money. Think about it, if you have close to 13 gallons in the tank, a few ounces of octane booster aren't going to make a difference in the octane of the gas. If you really want to increase octane, just mix some race gas (100 octane) with the premium stuff.

when i get my s2ki, it will be 91 octane, it's the highest in california.

Good ole 91 for the same reason at the others in California......

I'm just glad I don't have to pay as much as you poor SF area guys.

BP/Amoco 93 or Mobil (I think) 92 depending on which station I hit.
