I just bought my MY2000 with 37,000 miles. I've had it about 4 weeks now. I notices an 'A' shaped slit in the top on the drivers side. Slit is about 3/8". Haven't talked to a dealer about it. Car out of warranty and I'm the second owner. I plan to take it to have serviced at Honda and will ask about repairs/replacement. in the meantime, I put a piece of black duct tape on it on the underside of the top.

my soft top got cut by the bar (one that moves down when put down) keep rubbing the same spot of my soft top....

i took it to the dealer and complained about problems...

the service manager told me they had so many similar problems and it would be covered by warranty

after a few days, he called me that the new soft top arrived and i need to drop off the car....

now i have whole new soft top with that problem solved....

of course i have 20000 miles which still valid for warranty

mine was replaced by the dealer at no charge and no questions asked right before the warranty expired. I say try asking few different dealers.

Around spring '06, 40K, driver and pax side, ~4" from edge, over first bow.

7. Description of repair/replacement: NONE. I "fabric cemented" a patch to the inside hoping to protect from mechanism. Heat broke down the cement and patches moved around and finally came off. Replaced once after 8 months. Now rather large hole on pax side.
