Default Gawd, I hate coffee...

Here's a quick story I'm sure everyone can appreciate. I picked my boss up from the Mercedes dealership this morning. He needed to drop his car off for service, and I live close to the dealer, so no problem. He gets into my car with a nice, full complimentary cup of MB coffee. Right away, I'm thinking that's going to spill all over him or me or my car, and that's going to piss me off. Not to mention I don't like coffee in the first place. Sure enough, we start off and hit a bump and the coffee goes all over the notepad in his lap. It was all I could do to stop from breaking out laughing. All he said was, "damn, the suspension in this car is hard!" Thankfully, none of it got on the seat or the rest of the car, so I don't really care. This is why I have a strict no food or drink (without a screw on lid) rule in the car. I bet it will be a long time before he rides in my car again...

I occasionally have to make a Starbucks pitstop while in the S, and lemme tell you...it is an adventure in "careful driving". I've learned the best method is to place the coffee cup in the drink holder, then place several napkins over the sipping hole, then rest my arm on top of the napkins/cup while driving.

I have a "spill-proof" thermal mug, but it is too tall for the cup holder and gets in my way.
