i thought 4.77 was already hardcore. 5.10 imo, the gears would be too short

Holy gas mileage down the crapper. Going from an Integra to the S I was shocked at how high it was revving always at first. And thats with stock 4.10s. I cannot imagine 5.10s. 80mph would be what... 6000?

verses say......a 400+whp car that spins it's tires throughout 1st and most of 2nd gear making it practically useless?
i dont mind if i top out at say, 120mph. i dont travel at those speeds anyways.
i want something that will give me a nice kick in the range i drive in a lot. 30-80mph.
also, it would help out a lot for autox events wouldnt it?
but lets forget why im interested or why you are not for a moment and address my original question, yes? anybody got any info on final drive gearsets higher then 4.77?

I think J's makes some, but I don't know of anyone running them. Would be too much shifting for me and high speed highway runs wouldn't be too high speed

An AP1 with 4.90 gears would still hit 138MPH and would be crusing at about 5,200RPM at 80 in 6th.

On my car (an AP1), 4.30:1 gears have proven to be ideal for autocrossing, given my other mods. 5.10:1 gears will be way too short unless you like autocrossing in second gear most of the time. Even with stock 4.10:1 gears and a bone stock S2000 you can spin the tires in any corner on any autocross course, any time you feel like it, so lower gearing really isn't going to help much. Gears also knock you out of stock class, so you'll be running against much faster cars than in A Stock.
