German S2000 Coupe(not convert.),,true??
My daughter just returned from a 3 week stint in Germany as a High School exchange student(we get to host the girl she stayed with next month).
An aquaintance of her host father has an S2000 that she saw and said it was a straight hardtop. The top was fixed, with no convertable top underneath.
She's an S2000 fanatic(especially since I own one) and very observant so I am strongly inclined to believe her.
Can someone on this board verify this as fact? My curiosity is getting out of hand on this one.

I'm not trying to be an a$$ ... But most girls wouldn't really know what type of car they're looking at. Let alone describe what type of car or how it looks like exactly. It's just not in their blood. I'm another who believes that it's just a hardtop version, no way a coupe or a concept which is even more impossible.
While I can't justify anyone who buys an S2000 and tries to turn it into a coupe when they obviously know it's a roadster either with a hardtop or not. Which means, the girl is either lost in her own descriptive or doesn't know what she's looking at with no pictorial images to prove otherwise. It's just nothing of great importance to be significantly notable about.

actually I have seen it several times. Yes indeed it is a coupe with a fixed top. It is in Germany too. I am not saying Honda put this into production but yes one was made. My opinion it looked ok.
all you have to do is go to google and type in s2000 coupe under images and it will be right there a few photos down. It is the dark gray one(moonrock). In fact it is pictured here on s2ki. Yeah man your daughter was not wrong at all.
I am looking at it as we speak. Not only that but it has a full on wiper blade on the back glass. And before you suggest that what I am looking at is photo shopped, it's not. I repeat not photo shopped. If I could upload it and post it so you all can see I would. Having trouble doing so at the moment, but yeah have a peek for your self if you don't believe. Google it.
