Someone overpaid that's for sure

I almost responded by suggesting that if anyone wanted to give me $38k USD for my car they could own a car that had won multiple national shows while remaining nearly stock in appearance and suitable as a daily driver and autocross car, rather than a movie star with too much makeup, but thankfully I thought about it a little more before making the offer.

Fair market value for my car must be about $18k now, but I'm attached to the darn thing now and wouldn't part with it for 2x $38k.
On the other hand, my car isn't PINK.

A turbo'd S2000 getting to 60mph in 5.7seconds? .....

If I had to guess (and even though I don't have to guess I will anyway) I'd guess that the widebody kit is a cheap, heavy, immitation, and that the wheels and tires, widebody kit, and all the other junk, are slowing the car down a little. LOL, hell, it's probably the pink paint that slows it down. The little car is probably to embarassed to move quickly.

What's the appeal for buying this car? The movie wasn't a classic, and the car didn't do all that much in the movie. So Benihana Japanese Buffet's daughter sat in it~ I don't know anyone who finds her attractive.
