open the secret compartment and the sticker has two rows of codes. the bottom row is your radio code. plain as day. five numbers, none of which can go above the number "5". honda puts the radio codes somehwere on every vehicle.

No, mine only had the serial number, no second row of codes. Your dealer must have been good to you.

But my sticker does have a 2nd row of codes now.

In any case you need to get your code before you have the need. Check your sticker, could be in the trunk, and ensure you also have the 5 digit code.

Changed the battery in my car. Radio went to sleep. There are no stickers anywhere on the car and the previous owner was to stupid to read the manual or write the code anywhere.

My wife made the statement "Why would they bother putting anit-theft features on this POS stereo?" I had no awnser for her.

Holding preset 1 and 6 worked great on my 2002! There was no sticker anywhere, but there is now! Radio code: 56115, and I stuck it on the insode of the secret compartment door. Woohoo! I got tunes again!

Cool. I wish I knew this a few months ago. Anyway, opening up the stereo only takes like 3 minutes anyway.

I tried the #1 & 6 together then power on, in my 2007 and all it did was turn on the radio.

Did something change in the 2007 + ecu/radio to not allow me to get my radio code??
Anyone with an 07/08 tried this or would they please?

Thanks...

Doug, did you check for a sticker on the underside of your secret compartment lid?
