Default Getting my new S2000 today!

Today's the day! Picking up my 2002 Sebring Silver/Black in NJ this evening and driving back to Pennsylvania. Based on advice given by members of this board in an earlier thread, I decided to go for an '02 now instead of waiting for an '03, and I don't think I'll regret this decision

I managed to get a pretty good deal, and I'm psyched that I'm finally going to be able to own one after waiting for over a year. Only damper is that it's drizzly outside and rain is forecast for the rest of the evening, so I may not be able to put the top down. Hopefully the drive back should be ok with new S-02's.

This board has been extremely helpful with a ton of great info, and I look forward to being able to register as an owner.

Cheers everyone!

Just drive safely and enjoy. Fall is here and, to me, there is nothing like a drive in the country with the top down when the leaves change color.
Congrats!!!

The car is brand new; supposed to have only 8.6 miles now, and at the most 10 by the time they prep it etc.

I hope you got a good deal on the 2002 so late in the year. I'm planning to do this soon. Would you care to share with us what price you negotiated? (After you pick it up of course)

Congratulations...you won't be dissapointed. You know you can still put the top down if you drive fast enough

I drove home the other day at around 8:30PM from a car show with the top down. It was below 50 I'm guessing. Heat was at full throttle. It really wasn't too bad except for the ears. My advice, put the top down, crank the heat, wear a leather driving jacket and get a pair of those ear muffs that wrap around the back of your head.

I happened to pick an '02 up for 31k and 3.99% this weekend. Considering the low overall depreciation for the s2000, this seemed a pretty good deal.
