Default Getting rid of GUNK!

I finally decided to go ahead and do it, now i have gunk in the outline of "S 2000".

I was thinking about trying "Goo Gone" a citrus based formula designed to remove this stuff, sticker residue and other things, but I don't want to damage the paint.

I tried detailer's mist with some hard microfiber scrubbing and even some clay barring but nothing has worked so far. I even had an icescraper in my hand, but decided against it.

How did you guys get the residue off?

Side note: Do you think the S 2000 emblems will look better relocated to the trunk in the area where the Type-S emblem says "Type-S"?

It's Thursday night, Friday is tomorrow.... help!

goo gone will work, what i did was soak it and take a paper towel with my thumb nail and lightly rubbed it off then waxed the area.

Goo Gone works great. I had that residue crap on my RSX when I debadged it. I just put some ona shop towel scrubbed lightly then washed the area with some soap and water and then waxed it real nice.

Just finished, GOO GONE FTW!!!

I sprayed it all over the area, went inside got a drink. Then I scrubbed until it wasn't coming off anymore, sprayed it again and went in for a drink. Two drink cycles later it was all gone, then I sprayed detailer's mist to clean up everything. I'll wash and wax tomorrow, or later today.....

hell I'm not doing anything too important, I'll do it now.

thank for everyone's help! Reminds me of my civic after I had my Type-R sidemakers put in.

S 2000 emblem on the trunk?

Just my opinion, but don't relocate the side badges to the trunk.
