Default Getting rid of lower bumper grill!

I am thinking about getting rid of plastic insert in the front bumper grill.
Will I need to cut?

What are some good alternatives?

THANKS!

I have an AP2 and just popped mine out using my two bare hands. I mounted some black screen in there to protect the radiator.

What is your goal in replacing the part? Aesthetics? "Air Flow"? Uniqueness? That may dictate potentiate replacements (and help others make recommendations accordingly).
