While doing a very detailed cleaning job on my car, I noticed that the rear plastic window is zipped together to the top.

Does anyone have a 2002-up that can see if their back window contains this zip feature as well. I am interested to see if the glass rear window section will zip into the earlier years' top.

 

This has been discussed before, and unfortunately, there are a number of differences with the entire top (not just the glass/plastic issue) between the 00-01 and '02 tops.

At the minimum (as I understand it), you'd need to replace the whole top (expensive at the very least!).
