Default God damn you s2000!

So after owning two s2000's for a little under 2 years along with all the pros & cons of this car (making 2 trips to pick up my siblings from school a few times , the rough ride, lack of space, telling my passengers to hold on to my stuff, etc). I pondered the thought of owning a Lexus IS350 for its some what sporty nature, reliability, comfort, space & what not. But after taking a thorough test drive on my friends IS350 F-Sport, I COULDN'T WAIT to get back in my s2000 on the way back. The Lexus is indeed very nice, comfy, refined & no doubt faster than my s2000. But I couldn't stand the amazingly quiet ride & the un-involved driving experience, now I'm in a total dilemma. Goddamn you s2000 for spoiling me for life I don't think I can ever go without owning a lightweight, short wheel based, 2 seater sports car, sigh the fun factor of this car is just way too high for me, the drive from point A to B in my s2000 was twice as fun compared to the Lexus

I had a Lexus IS350 after my buddy wrecked my first S2000. I hear you, I was bored as shit with it in 5 months. Bought another S2000 and put a CTSC in it. I will never sell the car. Every other car I drive just isnt the same.

Keep the s2000 and use the extra money you were going to put into the IS350 and buy a car thats more economical for those trips you need more room?

S2000 isn't a car, it's a lifestyle.

Won't really be practical for me to have 2 cars while still in college, trust me I thought of that lol but it would just render my s2k useless since the only time I'll get to drive it is on a weekend if that were to happen. I would rather sell the car & keep the money or have it towards something with that's 4 doors, comfy, reliable, & decently fast. The only problem is finding a car that can do that while still be fun lol.

Thought of a G35 sedan but didn't really like it at all. E46 M3 SMG, but reliability/maintenance issues. STI wasn't exactly all that comfy lol & I'll just get the mod bug. Then looked at an S4, but once again reliability/maintenance issues. TSX under powered; TL 6speed, don't really like the exterior

My IS350 is covered, sitting on my driveway lol... I still love the car - but the stock IS350 is pretty boring. I couldn't stand how it sounded until I got the HKS Lexus exhaust (not the F-Sport). But when I'm on the freeway or sitting in traffic, I honestly wish I was in the IS instead.

I'm in college as well, my s2000 sits at home in the garage. Just another day living in Philadelphia. Why don't you look into a 3 series BMW, rear wheel drive, inline 6, fits your requirements but depending on mileage and what not you are facing the reliabilty factor and if you can't affor it BMW will stand for Broke Mans Wallet.

What about an Evo? I know that you will run into the mod bug again but it is 4 doors fast fun and stiffer unlike the luxury cars you are looking at. Or a 135/335 bmw? 300 HP and comfortable to boot. No matter what it seems like the cars you would get into aren't going to be cheap to fix if they break. Good luck.

That's what I was thinking. Or maybe a WRX or STI.
