The guy who bought my glass top has a MY00 and it would be cool to get the defroster working in his car.

The less expensive version is like OEM (Plastic) Stayfast canvas is cloth and has a deeper, more rich black color.

Is the Stayfast a better top(wont fade, stays cleaner, easy to clean etc) or it just looks better?

I would imagine that canvas, as any cloth, will be easier to fade etc than a synthetic like the OEM top.

Is the new top frame and all or is it just the top itself?

The Stayfast looks better but will be a bit more difficult to clean since it is made of cloth and not plastic.

Many of the luxury makers choose cloth for their tops over vinyl although their choice may be purely aesthetic.

With proper maintenance, the sheen and depth of the stayfast will remain for years.
