I like silver. No shame in either of the silver colors I think.

@JMWulff - I am growing to liking it more especially with the red/black interior!

Between the sebring and silverstone colors I would not be surprised if a third of all s2000s were one shade of silver or another. I don't think they would have made so many if people were not asking for them over and over again.

That said, I think you should get one irrespective of color. I've had mine for a year and a half and have had absolutely zero mixed feelings about the car over that time.

I've got someone in my family who has the same bmw 325xi (even same color) and I have driven it at least a dozen times. It is a great, well built car. But I think you will still have so much more fun with the s.

The hardest decision for me was ap1 (9k redline) vs ap2 (8k redline)

Aah... this is were I was a little disappointed. The brake feel was so unconfident inspiring. I wasn't sure when will I stop!
I certainly agree on the black comment

And indeed, after it seems I screwed my brakes up on a long spirited drive in the semi wet braking more then normal (no VSA and having a girl with me for a testdrive), and smelling it in the end, they never came back to normal stopping power (it WAS excellent up until that day) and I can feel exactly what you say... I am going to change the brake fluid and have the system checked.

Glad you liked the car. When I decided on the car, I took the Z4 also for a ride, as I did with the Boxster and Boxster S, as I did with the SLK... Once I hit VTEC I was S.O.L.D. and so was the S2000

Hi everyone - Just a quick update! Will be picking up my S2000 in a couple of hours!
Will post pictures later tonight! I am so excited.

Btw - I was driving around in Boston the other day - (just passed Honda Village) and saw one of the SAs driving an S2000. The sound was different from Stock - sounded deep and had a nice growl to it. Anyone know by any chance what kind of exhaust could it be?

I tried to search for good sound clips of comptechusa's exhaust. Any others?

.... excited!
