Finally got my alignment fixed yesterday (well... mostly) and the service lady told me that someone else had brought in his S2000 needing new tires at only 4000 miles.

And I thought I was the ONLY one eating tires! Mine last 50% longer than his!!

If you went to Dublin Honda after I picked my car up on Wednesday, then they were talking about mine. It actually had 4600 miles at the time. I had to have them show me how they do the measurement, since all of the tires look like they have plenty of tread. They measure from the tread to the wear bars and the insides of the fronts show 1/32.

The car gets driven most of the time on roads like Palomares Road, Calaveras Road, and Mines Road, with very little freeway driving. I don't drive as fast as the guys at the front of the pack at yesterday's Bay Area get-together, but I enjoy driving quickly. I expect to get a few thousand more miles out of the tires before replacing them.

So, how much does an alignment cost?
Do they do all four wheels?
And what do you mean by "mostly" fixed?
