Default Good price for S2000 CR 08

Sorry about the confusion, but it looks like that it has AC/Radio.

It's a certified 2008 S2000 CR Rio Yellow with only 7800 miles on it.

And it seems that they are asking 29k for it. What is your take?

Thanks

From what I've seen, a good price for a certified CR with that kind of mileage is high 20s. IMO, 30k is pushing it. It's not a rip-off like the 2002 AP1 with 17k Carmax has listed here for 19k, but I would shoot to get a couple grand under 30k.

Assuming you can live with a non a/c car this car appeals to a very select owner. The fact it is a certified car does make it more appealing, I would get a Carfax report on it just the same. And figure on paying between 27-28 for it, I've seen a CR non delete model with just over 1,000 miles bring in the 27's asking price.

Another thing to consider is they only made 669 CR's, and the delete model is even rarer.

I would be extremely aggressive on a yellow delete.

The guy did say he lives in Germany, could it be S2000's are a little more expensive over there?

I say 28.5-29.5 would be a fair price for a certified one.
Also if I were you I would make sure to look over the car very carefully.
Usually cars with that low mileage are either track toys or garage queens.

I paid $31,000 for mine about 6 months ago. Certified with 3,300 miles on it. I am in Italy now but when I bought the car I was in Germany. I set everything up through the phone and e-mail. I had them put it on a lift for pics and everything. I bought a ticket and flew back to buy it. I am not shipping it here though. I bought a Japanese spec S2000 here for a DD. Good luck man!
