Ok i'm sorry if i wrote everything together and with very bad english.

1) does the s2k have a small grind from 1st to 2nd gear if the engine is cold

2) does the s2k have any additives in the engine oil during brake in time

My 05 with 13k miles has the same grind from 1st to 2nd on cold. I'm going to change the transmission fluid and all that when I get to 15k (or maybe sooner).

Normal, try GM synrcomesh fluid.

 

Just a small suggestion.........

If you cannot be bothered to type in a simple question, using proper english and some form of sentence structure (ie commas, periods etc), then why should anyone here bother taking the time to help you out?

Sorry.....

1/ Some owners do experience the first to second grind when cold or hot. As I have not experienced this problem I cannot honestly answer you.

2/ The more knowledgable say there is an break in additive. Again, I cannot confirm this.
