Good service in the Maryland Area
Has anybody had the seatbelt and transmission TSB work done in Maryland? Any opinions about the quality of work at Honda of Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Tischer, etc.?

Try Odonnell honda in Ellicott City. First rate service, although i've never had anything major done. Ive heard great things about them though.
Ive also HEARD good things about Northwest in Owings Mills, but Odonnell is closer to my work.

I took mine to Herson's in Rockville for the transmission and while it was there they did the seatbelt recall. Apparently ( theis is according to my service manager) they have one of the best Honda techs in America. I didn't talk to the tech all that much so I can't really confirm that.
They were really good about servicing the car. I had an unrelated issue that kept them from starting the work right away and they neither complained nor rushed me.
According to them the upgraded transmission parts were already in the car, although I was getting the grind when I took it in and still get the grind occasionally. I don't think that says anything really about the quality of their work. They say they didn't get the grind after testing the car about 3 miles (and I checked the odometer so I know that's all they put on after another member here had a problem with joyriding) but they also that I could bring it back any time if the problems continue.
There was a minor hitch. They forgot to reset the seatbelt light after taking out the seats for the seatbelt fix. I took it back and gave it to them for about 10 mins.
If I can't vouch for their ability, at least I can say the mechanics there seem to be honest. All my change was still in my little tray when I got the car back.

I used go to O'donnell honda and they scratched my rear brake light(replaced) and scratched my paint(it is ok now). I might try them one more time and if things dont work out, i'll just go extra miles and go somewhere else.
