Picked up an '04 dash, radio door, 303 protectant, Plexus, and P21S Shampoo. Radio door, Pearlized Voodoo knob, and a Mugen Pressure Plate are in the mail. Ganely Honda is holding all the other clutch components for my install on 3/10

Great delivery time and service from hardtopguy.com and properautocare.com! I love the look and function of the new console, it's something I see and use every single time I get in the car very happy I went with this upgrade. Plus now there is room for my wallet and cellphone while I drive rather than awkwardly stuffing them into the glove box

Total cake to install too. Unscrew the shift knob, then pull the old one up from the back just below the glove box. Be gentle on each clip so they slide out smoothly and dont snap. Watch the ebrake as you life the center piece up so you dont scratch it. Also be careful while you unplug the wiring harness, you will need to hold the center piece up about two inches while you do this and its the prime chance to scratch the ebrake.

It's important to note that this shift boot is actually real leather on this console and not nasty vinyal.

Dont forget this requires a new hazard light button. The old one will not fit into the new console.

The new console requires about 8 screws to assemble. The old console has 7 screws in it, so you can pretty much just swap the two pieces out without any extra parts.

Lower the new console straight down over the ebrake, hold it level and plug in the wiring harnesses. Then place the console into its clips slots. Apply pressure over each clip until you feel it snap into place.

I also picked up a trunk bag from case logic. The straps are run to metal lips behind the trunk liner. When the trunk is closed the arms do fall over the straps but this does not displace the bag at all. Took 45 seconds to put in and cost 9 bucks. Great way to store those small but crucial trunk items!

Also the plexus cleans so well its almost scary. Its almost as if its taking a layer off the plastic

I was thinking about getting rick's leather cover, but the new console is so wide that it does a good job of covering the excessive amount of carpet that shows with the old console. The extra carpet bothered me a little before but now I dont really notice it at all. It's surprizing how fast you can swap these out, the center consoles just pull right up.

My interior is in great shape which Im sure makes the carpet more tolerable. The horrible flash on my digital camera washes everything out.

Do you mind if I ask what you paid just for the 4 center console parts? Did you get them from Honda?

Thanks! Looks really nice!

I think the '04 console looks MUCH better with the carpet. Don't change a thing!

Hardtopguy.com has the entire 04' console for $465 shipped. This includes the hazard button which you will need to replace with the new console.

Most Honda Dealers will want about $780 for the console.

I have since added a radio door which was $25 from hardtopguy and I will be getting a pearl voodoo knob to replace the polished one which is only two weeks old but Ill sell it to someone.

WOW!!! Thats still a good chunk of change that can go to something more useful (ie: go fast mods). I do love the center console, but i dont know if i love it to the point of almost $500!
